Do I need a license for a mobility scooter?

No, you don't need a license to drive a mobility scooter in Australia. However, you must follow the rules and regulations, such as a maximum speed of 10 km/h on level ground and giving way to pedestrians.

Very satisfied

Purchased this ROVA Boost as my wife had a fall, and we're not getting any younger! She is not using it much yet as she has recuperated well (again🤕!). However, when using it, found it very valuable, especially powered up hill and down hill auto restricting, meaning it doesn't run away from you. Also good on grass as the rear drive wheels tend to push the front wheels along, whereas, when pushing the handles of a non powered one tends to push the front wheels down into the grass. I see it as great value as we get closer to needing the aid as we are both in our 81st year. And it folds great for car. I'm wondering if I can fit the lawn mower in front of it!🤔

I chose this one as I fell before with a basic style walker. Spoke to the company and they advised it is safer as it doesn’t run away from you. I have a small hill too on my way to the news agent and it is helping pull me up so makes it easier to walk. Battery doesn’t need much charging, a bit heavier than my old one, but makes it feel sturdy. Good thank you.

No worries, happy to review. My son purchased this for me. Helps a lot as along my daily route there is a few hills and dips. I generally run it on the middle setting and it gives a gentle drive to keep up with my normal pace and I press the button when I get to an incline. Probably the better function is downhill as it has resistance to slow you down and it doesn't feel like it will run away from you. This is my first walker so I assume this would be a problem if it was just free rolling. Expensive, but using every day so worth it. thank you
